The type of personal information we collect

We currently collect and process the following information:

  • Design Brief & Project Details

  • Home address (including the address which the design work will depend upon if this is different)

How we get the personal information and why we have it

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:

  • In response to your initial enquiry to guide you through our consultation process

  • To visit your home following your initial enquiry to conduct a site visit

  • To keep you informed on your projects development

  • To communicate with you directly to co-ordinate meetings

We use the information that you have given us in order to contact you following your initial inquiry, to manage your project through our work pipeline and even after the design work is completed should we need to recall your project so we can assist you and bring the project to tender (if required).

We may share this information with relevant third-party companies such as Landscape Construction companies when your project goes to tender in order to cooperate with them effectively.

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:

How we store your personal information

Your information is securely stored.

We keep your garden design project data, contact logs, personal identifiers, and contact information for 5-years following the completion of your design project. We will then dispose of your information by removing your information from our company database permanently.

Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
